Ozone-based adjuvant in haemorroids treatment
The issue of treating the perianal area affected by an alteration of vessel walls of the peripheral circulation - commonly known as external haemorrhoids - involves a synergic action of ozone and of its derivatives ozonides with active ingredients and plant extracts, featuring confirmed beneficial properties on the tone of capillary walls. The sanitizing and stimulating action of Neozone 4000 (ozonized sunflower oil) prepares the vasoprotective activity of chestnut-derived escin and of blueberry and butcher’s broom extracts. Lastly, 18-β-glycyrrhetinic acid is included by virtue of its desensitizing and soothing action on the epithelium affected by inflammatory stress.

Active ingredients of the product
Neozone 4000 10%
Neozone 4000 is sunflower oil ozonized with 4.000 meq/l of added oxygen, corresponding to an average value of 9,6%.
Escin 1%
This active ingredient derives from chestnut and brings about vasoprotective and reinforcing properties on the capillary walls.
18-β-Glycyrrhetic Acid 0.2%
This active ingredient, naturally found in liquorice root, is known for its antinflammatory activity, resembling that of cortisone derivatives.
Mint Essential Oil
Its fresh effect aims at lowering the sensitivity threshold of the treated area, which is usually very sensitive and sore.
Butcher’s broom, blueberry and marigold extracts
All these integral glyceric extracts feature widely confirmed beneficial effects on the circulatory system, by virtue of their calming and soothing action on inflamed areas.

How to use
Carefully rinse the perianal area to be treated; spread an abundant amount of cream and perform a careful and mild local massage, to foster its absorption.
Apply at least twice a day for a week. If needed, extend the applications.
Warnings
Keep away from sources of heat. Store at a temperature below 30 °C; possibly store in a refrigerator. Do not use on injured skin or in case of known hypersensitivity or allergies to one or more components. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid release to the environment after use.
